Therapeutic approach
You may have a clear sense of the big challenges in your life. Or maybe you just have a feeling that things aren’t quite right.
Either way, what you bring is enough.
I offer a collaborative, creative approach to therapy that may help you make sense of what you’re experiencing.
How we begin
Step 1 — Curiosity call (FREE, 15 minutes)
We start with a conversation. You can share a little about yourself and what you’re seeking help with, and I'll share a bit more about my approach. We’ll do a tiny practice to give you a taste of working with me.
After the call I’ll send a thank you and an invitation to book a session.
If working with me feels right, you can follow the links to my booking page and fill in a brief intake form ahead of your first session.

Step 2 — Intake session (50-80mins online)
Our first full session is a chance to explore your immediate needs, relationships, sense of self, and hopes for what might be possible. Together we build a compassionate picture of where you are now and what you hope to change through engaging in therapy.
Some people find a single session gives them enough to work with for a while, and we might pause our work together at this point.
Step 3 — Arts-led therapy sessions (50mins online)
If you'd like to continue, I'll invite you to book a series of sessions - usually three or four to begin with, giving us time to inquire deeper into whatever is emerging.
Each session typically moves through:
Arriving - a gentle way of beginning
Arts-led inquiry - making, moving, writing, listening, or talking
Dialogue - noticing what's emerging and what it means for you
Choosing - deciding what to carry forward
Grounding - connecting what we've discovered to your values and needs
We work with simple, everyday materials. Our art-making is never about the product - we use the arts as a tool for inquiry and a way of making sense of your unique experiences of your self, your relationships and your environment.
